GANDHINAGAR: The state government is considering a plan to expand Ahmedabad by merging five neighboring municipalities into the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC). The municipalities considered for inclusion are Sanand, Mehemdabad, Bareja, Kalol, and Dahegam.
