UP-RERA Resolves 50,000+ Complaints, Tops Grievance Redressal

NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP-RERA) has successfully resolved 50,812 consumer complaints to date, which represents nearly 40% of all real estate grievances addressed nationwide. Since its establishment, UP-RERA has received 58,545 complaints under Section 31 of the RERA Act, accounting for 39% of the national total. With a disposal rate of 85.2%, the authority has become the primary platform for homebuyers seeking resolutions for issues related to possession delays, refunds, and interest payments. Challenge to Appointment of Himachal Pradesh RERA Chief

SHIMLA: The Himachal Pradesh High Court has issued a notice to the Sukhvinder Singh government in response to a petition challenging the appointment of former Chief Secretary R D Dhiman as the chairman of the state Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA). CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TNRERA) has released a circular aimed at boosting transparency and consumer awareness. Effective May 7, the mandate requires all registered real estate project sites to install well-visible display boards. This rule is applicable to both building and layout projects statewide.
