HYDERABAD: Property owners along State Highway-1 (SH-1) have received good news from the Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB), which has decided to postpone the recently announced property tax increase until the ongoing road widening concerns are sorted out. Additionally, those without any rental income will benefit from a 50% tax discount. The decision follows significant pushback against the 100% tax increase, as many proprietors were already facing financial hardships prior to the hike.
