President: 40 Million Houses Built for Poor in a Decade
NEW DELHI: President Droupadi Murmu announced on Wednesday that the government has built four crore pucca houses for the underprivileged over the past decade, reflecting its commitment to achieving housing for all. In her joint address to Parliament, she noted that 32 lakh newly constructed houses were handed over to beneficiaries in the last year.
