Visakhapatnam residents protest against proposed property tax hike
VISAKHAPATNAM: The Visakhapatnam Apartment Residents’ Welfare Association (Varwa) and the Greater Visakha Resident Colony Associations’ Federation (Nivas) protested on Monday against the proposed property tax increase in urban areas. The demonstration took place at the Mahatma Gandhi statue near the GVMC office, where they claimed that the govt had launched a resurvey for this purpose.
