Government invites suggestions on draft Registration Bill 2025
NEW DELHI: The government has sought public feedback on a draft bill on registration of documents affecting immovable property and other transactions that is aimed at providing secure, efficient and citizen-centric practices across the country. The Department of Land Resources, Ministry of Rural Development, has prepared the draft ‘The Registration Bill 2025’, which once enacted will replace the pre-Constitution law — The Registration Act, 1908.
