Start process to merge villages into Kolhapur civic body’s limits: Maharashtra CM to officials
KOLHAPUR: Public representatives met with chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, deputy chief minister Eknath Shinde, and deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar in Mumbai on Tuesday. The discussion centred on the Kolhapur Municipal Corporation’s recent proposal to merge 18 adjacent villages and two Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporations (MIDC) into the city limits. Following the meeting, Fadnavis instructed government officials to begin the necessary procedures for the merger.
