Action Taken on Illegal Constructions in Jamshedpur, Dhanbad

Representative Image JAMSHEDPUR | DHANBAD: Officials from the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) have announced that buildings constructed in violation of approved plans will be demolished, and fines imposed on the owners if the unauthorized structures are not voluntarily removed. JNAC Deputy Municipal Commissioner (DMC) Krishna Kumar stated, “On Saturday, two homeowners on Thakurbari Road in Sakchi were fined ₹27,500 for setbacks violations, with notices issued under the Jharkhand Municipality Act 2011.
