Jaipur: 62-year-old man arrested for selling illegal plots to 151 people

JAIPUR: Jawahar Circle police here Tuesday arrested a 62-year-old man for allegedly duping 151 people of crores of rupees by selling plots in an unauthorised colony using forged documents. Police identified the accused as Jagdish Narayan Sharma. He allegedly conspired with a housing society to sell illegal plots in a colony called ‘Parshvanath Enclave Extension’ on Vatika Road in Sanganer. Deputy commissioner of police (east) Tejaswini Gautam said the arrest was part of a larger crackdown on land mafia operating in collusion with housing societies. Rajasthan RERA to e-auction attached properties, ropes in MSTC

JAIPUR: Rajasthan Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) started the process for e-auctions of attached properties by roping in the MSTC Ltd, under the Ministry of Steel. The authority took the decision of using the e-auction software of MSTC, widely used by govt departments, as it seeks to enforce compliance and ensure timely recovery from defaulting real estate developers. The decision to engage MSTC on a contract basis was unanimously approved during the 21st meeting of the Authority on May 15. JAIPUR: According to a senior metro official, Rajasthan Metro Railway Corporation (RMRC) has submitted the approved Detailed Project Report (DPR) for Line 2 of Jaipur metro to the union govt and is presently awaiting final approval. AU Small Finance Bank has acquired an entire commercial tower on western express highway in Mumbai’s Bandra locality for more than Rs 371 crore from realty developer Earth Worth Constructions making it the largest outright office deal by any financial institution this year. Rajasthan CM okays detailed project report of Jaipur metro phase-II

JAIPUR: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has approved the detailed project report of Jaipur Metro Phase-2 and sent it to the Centre, according to an official statement on Wednesday. The construction work of this project will start as soon as the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs approves the report. Work on Phase 2 of Jaipur Metro was announced in the 2025-26 state budget. Rajasthan HC asks for compliance report in illegal Walled City buildings case

JAIPUR: A division bench of Rajasthan High Court Tuesday asked the state govt to comply with its Feb 25 order by July 7 in the case of 19 illegal buildings running commercial activities in residential area of Walled City. The bench of Justice Indrajit Singh and Justice Anand Sharma gave this order while hearing the application filed by the building owners.
