Indore’s 450 Illegal Colony Legalization Faces Roadblock
INDORE: The hopes of residents in over 450 unauthorized colonies have been dashed as various government departments have raised objections to their regularization. Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) has already legalized more than 200 colonies in previous phases, but the remaining cases face challenges due to complex land-use disputes and missing no-objection certificates (NOCs). As per IMC’s additional commissioner, Manoj Pathak, the regularization process has encountered obstacles after public notices were published for the remaining colonies.
