Nine teams to inspect illegal buildings: Thane civic body to Bombay HC
MUMBAI: Thane Municipal Corporation on Thursday told Bombay High Court it has set up nine teams to undertake zone-wise inspection of illegal constructions and will begin with green and no development zones. Justices Girish Kulkarni and Arif Doctor were hearing a petition by senior citizen Subhadra Takle regarding 17 buildings that were erected by land mafia who had usurped her 5.5 acre property at Shil village.
