Uttar Pradesh Receives ₹12,031 Crore for PMAY-Urban 2.0
LUCKNOW: The Uttar Pradesh government has received financial approval of ₹12,031 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) Mission 2.0, significantly advancing the goal of ‘Housing for All’ by providing pucca homes to the urban poor, according to an official statement released on Saturday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed officials to prioritize transparency and construction quality, noted the statement. As part of the initiative, geo-tagging and photographic recording of each house will become mandatory under PMAY (Urban) to facilitate real-time monitoring throughout the construction process.
