Ranchi: 70,000 property owners yet to pay holding tax
RANCHI: Over 70,000 property owners falling under the Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) limits did not pay holding taxes for the 2024-25 financial year (FY), the civic body officials said. Out of the Rs 83 crore holding tax that was to be received by the RMC, Rs 80.64 crore holding tax was paid by the 1.67 crore domestic and business property holders till March 31 this year, the civic body added.
