MUMBAI: A special court in Mumbai has summoned Prathamesh Developers through its partner businessman Pravin Raut in connection to a money laundering case tied to the Patra Chawl scam, noting their involvement in siphoning off the proceeds of crime. Court Denies HDIL Promoter Trip to Hyderabad, Allows Other Travel

MUMBAI: A special PMLA court has denied HDIL promoter Sarang Wadhawan’s request to travel to Hyderabad, where he is under investigation for allegedly facilitating threats via another individual. Wadhawan is implicated in a Rs 6,117.9 crore money laundering case. “A complaint has been filed with the ED (Enforcement Directorate) concerning threats involving the accused, and verification of the allegations is ongoing. Adani Properties Secures NCLT Approval for HDIL Assets

MUMBAI: The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has given the green light to Adani Properties for the acquisition of two assets from the insolvent Housing Development and Infrastructure (HDIL) as part of the corporate insolvency resolution process (CIRP). The acquired assets include a commercial property named ‘Inspire BKC’ located in Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex and a piece of land situated in Kalyan Shahad on the outskirts of Mumbai. Adani Properties was identified as the sole bidder submitting a proposal compliant with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) for both assets.
