AHMEDABAD: In a decisive move against dust pollution and urban safety violations, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has shut down three significant construction sites in Gota ward as of Saturday. This action followed the failure of these sites to install essential green nets and barricades to manage particulate emissions. A team from the AMC’s Estate and Town Development Officer (TDO) department conducted an unannounced inspection, leading to the suspension of work at Evera, S Plus, and Solo Bliss 2 sites for breaching the city’s Good Construction Practice Policy.
