GIDA to begin plot allotment in Dhuriyapar Industrial Township

Representative Image LUCKNOW: The Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA) will begin the process of allotting plots in the Dhuriyapar Industrial Township, following approval from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, an official spokesperson said on Saturday. Quoting GIDA CEO Anuj Malik, the spokesperson said, “As part of this plan, land acquisition was initiated in 17 villages of the region. So far, over 600 acres have been acquired, and the process is ongoing. In the first phase, plots will be allotted in two industrial sectors. Uttar Pradesh to launch three-month drive to regularise or raze unauthorised constructions

LUCKNOW: Over the course of the next three months, a sustained drive to bring down or regularise unauthorised structures will be carried out across key cities of the state. During a review of the housing development authorities, it was found that out of the 2.50 lakh complaints pertaining to unauthorised and illegal construction activity forwarded to authorities during the 2024-25 financial year, only 3,507 have been disposed of, while the remaining ones remain pending.
