Telangana to launch 1 lakh Indiramma houses for the poor on July 20
HYDERABAD: Revenue and Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy announced on Sunday that the Indiramma housing scheme for low-income groups (LIG) in the core urban region economy (CURE) area will be launched at the secretariat on Monday. The Congress government plans to build one lakh LIG flats in multi-storey buildings, each up to 10 floors. Ministers responsible for Hyderabad and Rangareddy districts, including Ponnam Prabhakar and D Sridhar Babu, along with Minorities Welfare Minister Mohammed Azharuddin, will unveil the application process, eligibility criteria, and the scheme brochure at the secretariat on Monday.
