PANAJI: Goans wishing to legalize structures on government or comunidade land will need to pay according to the minimum land price set by the state government. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant announced on Sunday that property owners will be charged based on the circle rate. Goa Cabinet Approves NBCC Sale of 1.5 Lakh Sq M of Land

PANAJI: The National Building Construction Corporation (NBCC) (India) Ltd has received approval to sell over 1.5 lakh sqm of built-up area in a prime location, primarily in Panaji, owned by the government of Goa. This amounts to more than double the built-up area assigned for the construction and redevelopment of seven projects undertaken by NBCC, which will include hotels, apartments, and office spaces for sale. Goa forms expert panel to examine illegal homes on private land

PANAJI: In response to growing concerns regarding unauthorized structures on comunidade land, the government has established a 10-member expert committee to investigate the inappropriate usage and illegal construction of residential houses on non-government land.
