Ghaziabad Delays Map Approvals After Revising Building Bylaws
GHAZIABAD: The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has put its online map approval system on hold until September to update it in line with the new UP Building Construction and Development Bylaws, 2025. During this interval, all building map approvals will be carried out manually, which could increase processing times from the usual two days to nearly a month. Officials acknowledge that this change may inconvenience consumers and lead to a temporary dip in GDA’s revenue.
