Ghaziabad: Higher FAR & Mixed Use to Boost TOD Zone Revenue 200%

GHAZIABAD: The launch of the transit-oriented development (TOD) policy along the 45km rapid rail corridor is poised to substantially enhance revenue generation. This policy will increase the floor area ratio (FAR) in the TOD influence area by 33–50% from the current 1.5, with provisions for mixed land use. Authorities estimate that this initiative could boost revenue from the zone by more than 200%. Ghaziabad Delays Map Approvals After Revising Building Bylaws

GHAZIABAD: The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has put its online map approval system on hold until September to update it in line with the new UP Building Construction and Development Bylaws, 2025. During this interval, all building map approvals will be carried out manually, which could increase processing times from the usual two days to nearly a month.
