E-khata drive to begin from July 1 across Bengaluru

BENGALURU: Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Wednesday announced the launch of a citywide property record (e-khata) campaign starting July 1, aimed at streamlining land documentation across Bengaluru. As part of the initiative, a pilot project will be rolled out in the constituency of Revenue Minister Krishna Byre Gowda, where 25,000 property records have already been digitised. Will demolish buildings causing floods: Karnataka deputy CM

Representative Image BENGALURU: Deputy chief minister DK Shivakumar on Thursday said the govt will act decisively to prevent flooding in the city, even if it means razing buildings obstructing stormwater drains.
