BENGALURU: The state government has revealed a significant property registration scam linked to its e-khata system, resulting in the suspension of five sub-registrars. This comes after officials discovered fraudulent registrations of approximately 1,332 properties over a one-year span from December 6, 2024, to December 5, 2025. BENGALURU: Catena Homes India Pvt Ltd, a Bengaluru-based property management company, is facing significant backlash after seven FIRs were lodged at various police stations. The complaints accuse the firm and its directors of defrauding tenants and homeowners of nearly Rs 25 crore through fraudulent lease and rental schemes.
