Uttar Pradesh cuts Ghaziabad civic body’s office budget by ₹10 crore
GHAZIABAD: The state govt reduced GMC’s budget proposal for its new Arthala office by over Rs 10 crore, reducing it to under Rs 100 crore. The corporation’s chief engineer, NK Chodudhary, said their initial estimate of Rs 110 crore was cut to under Rs 100 crore. The new office, expected to be ready next year, will be built on a 21,000sqm plot, with an additional 5,655sqm for parking, which includes GMC’s fleet of official vehicles and door-to-door collection vehicles.
