Rajasthan HC Demands Plans for Jaipur’s Walled City


JAIPUR: On Monday, a division bench of the Rajasthan High Court requested a comprehensive report from the state government regarding the development plans and actions taken for the Walled City.

During the hearing, set for September 17, Justices Sanjeev Prakash Sharma and Sanjit Purohit emphasized that the inquiry would encompass not only commercial activities in the residential areas of Haldiyon ke Rasta and beyond but also the overall development and issues of the entire walled city.

“This approach aims to address problems such as waterlogging on roads, parking dilemmas, and traffic congestion within the walled area,” stated the bench.
