Pune Land Deal: Parth Pawar’s Firm Seeks Sale Deed Cancellation

PUNE: Amadea Enterprises LLP, co-owned by Parth Pawar, son of Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, has initiated a civil lawsuit against Sheetal Tejwani, the power of attorney holder for the Mundhwa land, in a bid to annul the sale deed.

Digvijay Patil, a partner in the firm, filed this suit in a Pune court under Section 31, concerning the cancellation of written documents, including sale deeds or contracts as stated in the Specific Relief Act of 1963.

According to court filings, a hearing is set for January 15, 2026.

Issues arose concerning the sale of 40 acres of land in Mundhwa, valued at Rs 300 crore, which was discovered to be government property and thus unsellable. Furthermore, Amadea Enterprises allegedly received an exemption from paying Rs 21 crore in stamp duty.

Tejwani is accused of unlawfully executing the sale deed for the property, which belongs to 272 ‘original watandars,’ fully aware that the land was government-owned.

The sub-registrar, Ravindra Taru, is also implicated for facilitating the sale deed.

Officials from the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) have registered an FIR against Digvijay Patil, Tejwani, and Taru for alleged stamp duty evasion. Parth Pawar has not been named in the FIR.

In a related matter, the district administration has filed a case against Patil, Tejwani, and suspended tehsildar Suryakant Yeole for their roles in executing the sale deed. This FIR has been lodged at the Khadak police station and is under investigation by Pune police’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW).

Tejwani was apprehended by the EOW last month and remains in the custody of Bavdhan police, while Taru has also been arrested.

Yeole allegedly issued a notice to the Botanical Survey of India, instructing them to vacate the land claimed to have been sold to Amadea Enterprises LLP.

A Pune court has denied Yeole’s plea for anticipatory bail.
