NEW DELHI: Realty company Mittal Builders has partnered with House of Abhinandan Lodha to launch a housing project in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region with a total investment of ₹2,000 crore.
On Thursday, Mittal Builders announced it has signed a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) with House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL) to co-develop an 11-acre project comprising 3 million sq ft, including over 4,600 apartments and high-street retail spaces.
The project is anticipated to be unveiled in the second quarter of 2025-26.
“The joint venture entails an investment of approximately ₹2,000 crore and a gross development value (GDV) of over ₹3,000 crore within the next 3-5 years,” the company stated.
Rahul Mittal, promoter of Mittal Builders, commented, “Naigaon is rapidly becoming a significant growth hub in the MMR.” He added that this partnership with HoABL combines complementary strengths to expedite Naigaon’s transformation into a well-integrated urban destination.
Akshay Mittal, another promoter, mentioned that the company has already delivered 2 million sq. ft. of residential space for over 2,000 families and operates a school serving more than 2,500 students in Naigaon. Rakesh Pai, Chief Operating Officer at HoABL, emphasized that Mittal Builders, established in 1952, has a portfolio exceeding 50 million sq. ft. across over 2,000 properties in cities like Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Nagpur.
Founded in 2020, HoABL has completed 4 projects totaling around 15 million sq ft of developed land, primarily focusing on plotted development while now venturing into group housing.
