LUDHIANA: The MC Suvidha Kendras will be open during regular hours on Saturday, September 27, and Sunday, September 28, to assist residents in claiming a 10% rebate on property tax for the current financial year. This 10% rebate on property tax payments for the fiscal year 2025-26 can be availed until September 30.
No penalties will be applied for tax payments made between October 1 and December 31. However, a 10% penalty will be assessed for payments made from January 1 to March 31. If property tax is not paid by March 31, a penalty of 20% will be imposed.
Mayor Inderjit Kaur and MC Commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal urged residents to settle their dues online at mcludhiana.gov.in to avoid long wait times, and they encouraged punctual payment to benefit from the rebate.
