Lucknow: Ten FIRs Filed Against Ansal API in One Day

LUCKNOW: Ten new FIRs were filed against Ansal API at the Sushant Golf City police station on Thursday and Friday, increasing the total number of cases against the real estate firm in Lucknow to 224.

The complaints allege fraudulent activities relating to undelivered properties, including flats, villas, and plots, totaling over Rs 1.72 crore.

Tanuja Krishna Dubey, a resident of Railway Officers’ Colony, stated that her late father purchased a plot in 2011 and paid Rs 33.60 lakh by 2015. Despite numerous requests, the registry was never processed. Following her father’s death in 2022, Tanuja claims she was threatened by company representatives when she sought to transfer the registry into her name.

Dr. Shachi Tripathi from Gurugram reported paying Rs 25.32 lakh for a plot that was never transferred. Similarly, Amiyaket Singh from Gomtinagar alleged that he was cheated out of Rs 10.47 lakh for a plot.

Other complainants include Rajneesh Gaur from South City, who paid Rs 31.30 lakh for two villas; Ashish Agnihotri from Bada Chandganj, who lost Rs 8 lakh for a flat; and Chetaram from Aashiyana, who claims to have lost Rs 10.22 lakh for a plot.

Additional victims are Shailesh Agnihotri from Aliganj (Rs 8 lakh for a double-bedroom flat), Paras Nath from Arjunganj (Rs 5.38 lakh for a flat booked in 2010), Amit Kumar from Saketpuri, Alambagh (Rs 28 lakh for a flat), and Saroj Tiwari from Gautam Budh Nagar (Rs 12.35 lakh for a villa).
