Kriti Sanon Purchases Bandra Duplex Penthouse for ₹78.20 Crore

Bollywood star Kriti Sanon has acquired a luxury sea-facing duplex penthouse in Supreme Prana, located in the upscale Pali Hill area of Bandra, Mumbai, for over ₹78.20 crore.

The apartment, spanning a carpet area of 6,636 sq. ft., occupies the 14th and 15th floors of the under-construction building. The transaction values the property at approximately ₹1.18 lakh per sq. ft., marking it as one of the priciest real estate deals in Mumbai’s suburbs.

The actress has also settled ₹3.91 crore in stamp duty for this transaction, which was registered on Thursday. Inclusive of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and additional charges, the total cost is over ₹84.16 crore.

Documents reviewed by RealtyDailyNews indicate that Sanon purchased the apartment directly from the developer, Supreme Universal, with her mother listed as a joint owner.

As homebuyers, women benefit from a 1% lower stamp duty rate of 5%, a concession introduced by the Maharashtra government in 2021.

According to the purchase agreement, Sanon will enjoy exclusive access to six parking slots in the new tower and an open terrace measuring 1,209 sq. ft. on the 15th floor.

Last year, she also invested in a land parcel within a premium plotted development project in Alibaug, close to Mumbai.

RealtyDailyNews reached out to Sanon’s team and Supreme Universal for comments, but did not receive a response by the time of publication.

Bollywood celebrities have increasingly been investing in real estate as a lifestyle enhancement and a long-term investment strategy. From luxurious residences in prime locations in Mumbai to expansive second homes in Alibaug, Goa, and Dubai, this trend illustrates a blend of personal enjoyment and investment diversification.
