Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has made his first investment in land by acquiring a 2,000 sq. ft. plot in a coastal development project in Alibaug, located near Mumbai, from The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL).
Launched in April 2023, the project has attracted contributions from corporate leaders, business figures, and celebrities. Aaryan is now among the prominent buyers in HoABL initiatives across Ayodhya, Vrindavan, and Goa, as stated by the company.
“Alibaug has become a highly sought-after investment spot close to Mumbai, and I intend to build my own home there. This is my first land investment,” Kartik Aaryan remarked.
The transaction was recorded today with his mother, Mala Tiwari, handling the formalities as Power of Attorney alongside his father, Manish Tiwari.
In recent years, Alibaug has witnessed a surge in real estate and tourism activity, bolstered by infrastructure enhancements, including the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL), Navi Mumbai International Airport, and better road and jetty connections.
These developments in infrastructure have boosted demand for premium plots and vacation homes, establishing Alibaug as a favored residential area near Mumbai.
“Our project is the first branded land development in Alibaug. Kartik’s investment highlights the growing appeal of Alibaug as a prime location for Mumbaikars aiming to build spacious and luxurious residences, as evidenced by prior investments from Amitabh Bachchan, Kriti Sanon, and various business executives,” said Abhinandan Lodha, Chairman of HoABL.
According to Samujjwal Ghosh, CEO of HoABL, the demand for second homes in Alibaug stems from its long-term growth potential and lifestyle appeal.

These transactions underscore how lifestyle preferences and enhanced connectivity are shaping location choices, coinciding with a steady rise in demand from professionals and entrepreneurs.
