PANAJI: The Goa Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) has made 28 industrial plots available for lease across five industrial estates in Goa. GIDC Managing Director Pravimal Abhishek emphasized that these plots present a “strategic” investment opportunity for entrepreneurs.
The plots, located in Pissurlem, Honda, Sanguem, Panchwadi, and Kundaim, are aimed at new industrial investments as well as the expansion of existing businesses. Sizes range from 907 sqm to 2,689 sqm, suitable for small and medium manufacturing operations.
The Panchwadi Industrial Estate offers the most plots, with 10 available, while Sanguem has seven. Pissurlem features three and Honda five plots, with Kundaim, a key industrial area, having two plots listed.
The lease rate is set at Rs 1,070 per sqm for plots in Pissurlem, Honda, Sanguem, and Panchwadi. Plots in Kundaim are priced higher at Rs 2,120 per sqm due to their advantageous location and developed infrastructure.
Allotments for these plots will adhere to the Goa Industrial Development Corporation (Allotment, Transfer and Sub-Lease) Regulations, 2023, accessible on the GIDC website. Applications are due by October 15.
This initiative is part of GIDC’s efforts to foster industrial investment and create jobs in Goa, highlighting the “strategic location and growth potential” of the estates on offer.
