JAIPUR: The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has designated five crucial roads along the metro line as Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) corridors.
A TOD corridor is an area within an 800-meter radius of metro stations, where mixed land use—residential, commercial, and industrial—will be mandatory.
On Thursday, JDA Commissioner Anandhi announced that this decision aligns with the state government’s Transit-Oriented Development Policy-2025.
The TOD corridors include:
- Veer Tejaji Circle to Pandit TN Mishra Marg junction (1.4 km)
- Pandit TN Mishra Marg junction to Bharat Ashram Marg junction (1.5 km)
- Bharat Ashram Marg junction to Janpath Marg junction (1.1 km)
- Janpath junction to ESI Road junction (1.6 km)
- ESI Road junction to Tonk Road junction (1.3 km)
