DTCP Suspends Project License, Directs FIR Against Company Directors

GURUGRAM: The district town planner (enforcement) has suspended the development license of Prime Time Infraproject for its 10.9-acre residential colony in Sector 1, Pataudi. This license, originally issued on October 22, 2013, was officially suspended on February 4 due to the developer’s alleged non-compliance with directives and failure to respond to show-cause notices.

The DTCP decided on the suspension after the developers consistently missed project deadlines and breached bilateral agreements.

Sub-registrar Pataudi has been instructed to halt all registrations of sale deeds, conveyance deeds, and lease agreements related to the project. Additionally, red entries have been made in the revenue records to prevent any further transactions. Officials confirmed that development has ceased at the site, and an abandoned building within the project area has been sealed by the enforcement team.

According to a senior DTCP official, “The developer was given multiple chances to meet the license terms, but repeated defaults forced us to suspend the license.”

The enforcement office has reached out to the police, requesting an FIR against the directors and promoters of Prime Time Infra for violations under the Haryana Development and Regulation of Urban Areas Act, 1975. This FIR will be filed at the HSENB police station on Sohna-Badshapur Road.

Officials emphasized that no new sales, transfers, or property registrations will be allowed under the suspended license until further notice. Homebuyers and investors are warned against entering into new agreements concerning the colony.

Copies of the suspension order have been sent to the director general of town and country planning, the deputy commissioner of Gurgaon, and the senior town planner to ensure centralized monitoring of the situation. With both regulatory and legal actions underway, authorities stated that this crackdown serves as a strong warning to developers who fail to comply. “Our goal is to protect consumer interests and ensure strict enforcement of development regulations,” an official added.
