PATNA: On Tuesday, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar visited the construction site of the Patna Metro Rail Project.
He instructed officials to speed up the construction process.
According to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office, “During the visit, the CM assessed the Metro Terminal at Bariyarpur and reviewed the metro rail coaches, tracks, yard, power grid, and associated infrastructure.” The CM emphasized the need to expedite the project’s construction.
Regular inspections are being conducted to ensure efficient progress on the construction work.
During the inspection, the CM engaged with officials to discuss the current status of the metro rail construction. Officials informed him that the terminal at Bariyarpur would function as a halt, maintenance, and cleaning facility for the trains, while the onsite administrative building would oversee the smooth operation of the metro services.
The CM also evaluated the Zero Mile Metro Station, reviewing the ongoing construction work there.
