Ahmedabad Plans to Earn ₹473.7 Crore from Five Plots Auctioned

AHMEDABAD: During an online auction held on Thursday and Friday, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) successfully sold five plots in areas such as Shilaj, Chandkheda, Sola, and Vastral, which is projected to bring in ₹473.7 crore.

Out of 13 plots listed for sale across different areas in the city, only five were sold.

As per the AMC’s estate department, Final Plot No. 93 in Shilaj (TP Scheme No. 216), designated for residential use with an area of 9,765 sq m and a base price of ₹168.9 crore (₹1.7 lakh per sq m), was auctioned for ₹1.7 lakh per sq m, yielding an additional income of ₹2.9 crore above the base price.

Final Plot No. 146 in Chandkheda-Zundal (TP Scheme No. 74), assigned for commercial use with an area of 1,615 sq m and a base price of ₹1.98 lakh per sq m, fetched one rupee more than the base price, generating ₹31.97 crore.

Final Plot No. 171 in Sola-Hebatpur (TP Scheme No. 41), also for commercial use, with an area of 3,974 sq m and a base price of ₹111.6 crore (₹1.75 lakh per sq m), was sold for ₹2.81 lakh per sq m, yielding ₹42.1 crore over the base price.

Final Plot No. 172 in Sola-Hebatpur (TP Scheme No. 41), commercial as well, with an area of 3,819 sq m and a base price of ₹109.2 crore (₹1.75 lakh per sq m), auctioned for ₹2.86 lakh per sq m, resulting in an additional income of ₹42.39 crore above the base price.

Lastly, Final Plot No. 148 in Vastral (TP Scheme No. 114), also for commercial use, covering an area of 5,900 sq m with a base price of ₹51.9 crore (₹86,000 per sq m), sold for ₹88,000 per sq m, generating an excess income of ₹1.18 crore over the base price.
