NOIDA: The Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) is leasing commercial spaces at Sector 81, Sector 83, and Depot metro stations along the Aqua Line.
At Sector 81, NMRC is offering four commercial spaces: two on the ground floor (26 sqm and 172 sqm), one on the first/concourse level (315 sqm), and another on concourse level 2 (232 sqm). At Sector 83, a 226 sqm space is available on the upper ground floor, while at Depot metro station, there’s a 106 sqm area on the first/concourse level.
As per NMRC officials, the successful bidder will be allowed to use these spaces for commercial activities, except for those that are prohibited by the corporation.
Non-fare box revenue from leasing these commercial spaces for kiosks and other outlets is crucial for NMRC’s financial strategy.
The deadline for application submissions is January 5, 2026, with a license period of 15 years for the commercial spaces.
The Aqua Line currently connects Noida Sector 51 to Depot station in Greater Noida, serving approximately 68,869 passengers daily, based on data from November 2025.
In addition, NMRC has three extension projects planned: from Sector 51 to Knowledge Park V, from Sector 51 to Sector 142, and from Depot station to Boraki, further expanding the metro network. A skywalk connecting Sector 51 to Sector 52 station is also set to be completed by January 2026.
