HYDERABAD: The Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TGRERA) has suspended the housing project ‘Shrivari’s Brundavanam’ due to multiple complaints from buyers.
The project, developed by Shrivari Constructions and represented by P Uma Devi, is situated at Padmashri Hills in Bandlaguda Jagir municipality within Gandipet mandal in Rangareddy district.
According to the complaints, the project consists of 80 flats developed under a joint venture agreement with landowners. The sales agreements promised possession dates of February 2023 and May 2024.
Despite substantial buyer payments, the builder has failed to complete construction and deliver the flats within the agreed timelines.
Following a review, TGRERA issued interim orders on June 23 placing the project on hold under Section 7(3) of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016. This order prevents the developer from marketing, advertising, selling, or entering into agreements for any flats in the project until further notice.
Additionally, TGRERA has instructed the sub-registrar of Gandipet not to process any sale or registration of units related to ‘Shrivari’s Brundavanam’ until further instructions.
The authority has issued a public advisory cautioning against entering into any transactions related to the project. The matter is currently under regulatory review, pending further hearings.
