JAIPUR: The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has introduced five new land pooling schemes aimed at promoting organized urban growth, featuring industrial, residential, and mixed-use developments.

Two of the proposed schemes will be situated along Mahal Road, while the remaining three are planned for Agra Road, Kalwar Road, and near Tonk Road in Sanganer, according to officials.

JDA has designated a 127.08-hectare plot in Ramchandrapura, near Rampura and Kanwarpura villages, primarily for industrial purposes, with over 58% of the area allocated for industries and recreational spaces, including 200-foot-wide road networks.

Additionally, a 266.42-hectare site encompassing Vidhani, Rampura, Kanwarpura, Jaichandpura, and Vimalpura villages has been chosen mainly for residential development.

On the northeastern fringes, a location close to Khori Ropada village along Agra Road has been earmarked for development under the heritage city initiative, incorporating both residential and industrial features.

A mixed-use project covering over 380 hectares is proposed along Kalwar Road, and another is set for the Muhana Mandi area, where 62% of the land is designated for residential use along with facilities for public and semi-public purposes.
