BHOPAL: On Saturday, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed that there is no greater joy than owning a home, as 348 families in Neemuch geared up to celebrate Diwali in houses constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Speaking to the beneficiaries virtually from Samatva Bhavan, Yadav highlighted that PM Narendra Modi’s vision of providing homes for every citizen has changed the lives of over 4 crore people nationwide.
“This Diwali is the most beautiful in their lives as they will celebrate it in their new homes. The dream of 348 families in Neemuch is coming true,” he remarked.
To date, more than 49 lakh families in the state have achieved their dream of homeownership, including over 40 lakh rural and 8 lakh urban families. “Our villages and cities are smiling together,” he stated. Yadav also announced plans for a medical college in Neemuch and the introduction of air services.
He referred to Bhadwa Mata as the Vaishno Devi of Madhya Pradesh, stating that efforts are underway to enhance the temple site.
